Getting to work……for Al!

The inside of the house was in a desperate condition throughout. There was 3 or 4 layers of wallpaper, all nicotine stained which had to be stripped. 

It clearly got to much for the previous elderly owner to care for what must have been a very happy family home.

All of the central heating pipes and electrical cabling were encased in conduit and were mounted on the surface of the walls throughout the ground floor so all needed to be channelled into the solid brick walls.

This was going to be a long job.

We needed a new boiler and it had to be move as it was in an upstairs cupboard. Walls throughout the house stripped of 5 layers of nicotine stained wall paper, new flooring, new kitchen….in fact everything.
